VCT Surpasses 100 Million Dollars Shared in 2025

The VALORANT Champions Tour has closed out 2025 with a landmark achievement that further establishes VALORANT as one of the most sustainable and successful esports ecosystems in the world.
Riot Games confirmed that more than 100 million dollars will be shared with VCT teams from the 2025 season alone, including over 86 million dollars generated directly through esports digital goods.
This level of revenue distribution marks an unprecedented moment for the circuit and highlights the strength of the VCT economy at a global scale.
Record Breaking Events Define the 2025 Season
The 2025 season was the most successful in VCT history, driven by record-setting viewership and standout global events.
Masters Bangkok and Masters Toronto became the most watched Masters tournaments the circuit has ever seen, while Champions Paris delivered one of the most memorable moments in competitive VALORANT.

Champions Paris featured a bold opening ceremony, the VCT’s first collaboration with fragment, and a dramatic five-map grand final that ended with NRG being crowned the 2025 VALORANT World Champions.
This event had a truly amazing shot at showing how Esports can bring together cultures.
Digital Fan Engagement Reaches New Highs
Fan interaction reached new levels throughout 2025 thanks to major updates in how audiences engage with the VCT. Pick’Ems participation hit record numbers, with more than two million players taking part during the Game Changers tournament alone.
Shotcall also made its debut in beta form and quickly gained traction, generating millions of live predictions during international events.

Alongside these features, a fully redesigned broadcast HUD modernized the viewing experience, delivering clearer visuals and contributing to all-time highs in watch time and live interaction.
Together, these innovations positioned VALORANT as one of the most advanced digital ecosystems in modern esports.
A New Competitive Pathway Arrives in 2026
Looking ahead, the 2026 season introduces a major structural change with a new Path to Champions.
Non-partner teams will be given an opportunity to compete for a place at Champions Shanghai during Stage 2, opening the door for new organizations to challenge established teams on the world stage.
The VCT calendar will also expand its global footprint. The circuit begins on January 15 and will travel to Santiago and London for its marquee Masters events, before concluding with Champions Shanghai in October, where the next world champion will be crowned.
A Strong Foundation for the Future of VALORANT Esports
With record revenue sharing, historic viewership, and deepened fan engagement, the VCT’s 2025 season has set a new standard for competitive gaming.
As new teams enter the ecosystem and global live events continue to grow, VALORANT enters 2026 positioned at the forefront of sustainable and player driven esports.
