Carriço: How did you get into esports?

Adam: I was just playing the game, and tried to find a team. Then OG contacted me after I had played with another on VLR, and know I'm an OG player. It was something I wanted to do, but I didn't know it would come.

Carriço: Why did you choose to become a professional player?

Adam: This is the only thing I can do actually. I only know how to play Valorant so that is why I'm in OG. Video games are my passion.

Carriço: Can you talk a little bit about your path in VALORANT before joining OG?

Adam: I was it a team that maybe most people don't know which was Macbernik. Before I had played in The Dush with some people from CS.GO, and after my match against OG in the VRL qualifier, OG contacted me.

I stream a lot, I also had a lot of practices with some good teams, and I think because o that I’m in OG, but I'm not sure.

Carriço: You currently play as a Duelist, what are some things that make a good Sentinel at the pro level?

Adam: For me, in my opinion, duelists need to be crazy persons. You need to run everywhere, they don't know what you are doing on the attacking side, and in defense, you need to have an impact on the operator, and try to find some picks.

You need to try and destroy people, and they never know what you are doing. You need to do that. For me, duelists are like this.

Carriço: How does your daily routine look like?

Adam: Since I'm in OG, I wake up, I work out, then I come back home and play deathmatch, and after that, I have practice with my teammates. After my practice, I still play competitive or deathmatch, it depends. Or I watch some vods, and after that, I go to sleep.

Carriço: How is it to work with this group of players at OG?

Adam: It’s really cool to play with them. It’s a lot of productive things, you learn a lot. When you are new like me, a rookie, you learn a lot with OG. It’s very special. Before the practice with OG I was not productive like I am now, it’s really cool to play with this group of players actually.

Carriço: What are some of the things/intangibles each player brings that are very important to the team?

Adam: How can I say it, you need to be like a family you know. You say everything to your teammate, you do everything for your teammate, you die for your teammate and i think it’s like this. It’s my opinion of course, but it's like a family for me you know, you need to be like a family with your team.

Carriço: What do you bring to the team outside the game?

Adam: I think I am a funny guy, I try at least to be one. I try to have fun with my teammates.

Carriço: How important is it to have a great team environment, do you think in order to find success a good team environment outside and inside the game is necessary?

Adam: Yeah I think you need to be really close with your teammates, you need to know everything about them, it’s my opinion. Maybe for some people, it's different, but for me, you need to be close with your teammates, know them and have fun with them. Because you need to have synergy inside the game. Outside the game and inside the game you need to have something with your teammates, something special.

Carriço: How would you describe the playstyle of OG?

Adam: It depends on the map. There are some people playing slow, and trying to find the perfect way in terms of strategy, and after that you let me go out on the attacking side. I think we have a really good strategy.

Carriço: Your campaign in the French VRL has been good so far, you are already qualified for the Playoffs, do you think you have a great shot at winning the title?

Adam: I'm confident, as are the boys. We throw a little bit too much, but yeah I'm confident. We should win this VLR. I hope so.

Carriço: How is the preparation going for your remaining matches in the league and also the playoffs?

Adam: It’s a bit complicated because we are playing on the new patch, and we only played one day in the new patch. So it’s a bit hard but I hope it will be good. It’s a bit hard I'm not going to lie.

Carriço: What do you think about the new patch? Do you like the new meta?

Adam: No no. It’s a good game style for me, but Icebox changed, Brimstone is really op now, I don't know what to say, it’s a very different patch.

Carriço: How do you think this patch can impact the team?

Adam: I don't know man, I don't know what to say to you. I don't know what is going to do to the team. It’s a really strange patch, Yoru can be good, Brimstone is really strong, Viper changed a lot. I really don't know.

Carriço: If you win the League you will play in the VCT Promotion Tournament, now you guys have been together for a little bit more time still only 3 months, and already have the experience of playing against some of the best teams in Europe so what type of team will we see if you are able to make it into the VCT promotion tournament?

Adam: For my teammates maybe it helped them, but my first tournament was the VLR, I didn't play the VCT qualifiers, so maybe it helped my teammates. But I don't have experience so I don't know what I'm going to do versus the people at VCT. But I will try to do the same thing I was doing in the VLR, I will try to destroy everyone.

Carriço: You think you have a good shot in the VCT promotion tournament?

Adam: Yeah it’s not a problem. I think the French league actually is more complicated and everyone can beat everyone. It’s really different to play versus French people than other European players.

Carriço: Is there a team you are really looking forward to facing off against in these playoffs?

Adam: Sector One for sure. Playing against Sector One would be cool.

Carriço: What are the main goals for OG this year?

Adam: Be champions of France, and try to qualify for the VCT, and trying to win the VCT and qualify for Champions would be cool.

Carriço: What are the main goals of 2022 for you as a player?

Adam: Try to improve and become the best duelist in Europe, but it’s going to be a bit hard because there are a lot of good duelists. I will try my best to do that, and with experience and everything, I think I can do it for sure. I will try my best this year, to prove to everyone im there.

Carriço: Is there anything else you want to say to the OG fans?

Adam: Thank you for the follow, the shares, and for the love, you give me on Twitter, and on Twitch, it's amazing, and thank you for everything.

Carriço: Thank you for agreeing to do the interview Adam, it was a pleasure talking with you, and I wish you the best of luck in the playoffs.

Adam: Thank you.
