In the ever-evolving world of Valorant, players have stumbled upon a significant bug that allows them to easily destroy Cypher's tripwires through walls. This discovery has sparked widespread discussion in the gaming community, especially as Riot Games prepares to release the 8.0 patch for the game.

Cypher, a well-known defensive agent in Valorant, recently received a boost in his abilities, making him a more formidable character in the game. His tripwires, which are essential for his defensive strategy, have been enhanced to extend 50% more and can be re-equipped after tripping enemies. This has led players to seek new methods to counteract his strengthened position.

Previously, any enemy agent's abilities that collided with Cypher's tripwires would break them. However, following the updates in patches 5.10 and 7.09, only damage-dealing abilities can now destroy these wires. This change has made Cypher's tripwires a significant challenge for attackers, as they can be extended beyond the vision cone of chokepoints, effectively blocking enemy entry.

The new bug, however, introduces an unexpected twist. Players have found a way to break these tripwires using the Classic pistol, a weapon that typically cannot penetrate walls. This method is considered an exploitation of a glitch and goes against the intended mechanics of the game.

Specific examples of this bug in action include:

By lining up the B Market right wall with the Blue door's wooden frame, players can aim and shoot at the top part of the far right plank to destroy the tripwire in B Hookah.

While the community eagerly awaits a response and a fix from Riot Games, it's important to remember that exploiting such bugs can go against the game's guidelines and potentially result in an account ban. Players are encouraged to play fairly and respect the integrity of the game.
