Sage is one of the most useful and easy to play sentinels on Valorant. If you want to learn how to play Sentinel Sage is the easiest agent to start with. 

On Split, she is very useful, especially because of her wall, which allows her to close entrances to the bombsites, or make it safer for her allies to plant the spike. 

You have multiple walls on Split that can help you slow the enemy's rushes, gain control of the map, or just make it easier for your teammates to plant without being exposed.

Sage Walls on Split A Bombsite 

A Main Wall

This Wall blocks the main entrance to the A site, slowing the enemy's rush into the site, or even forcing them to change their attack plan. It also allows you to gain orb control and to easily secure the orb getting you or one of your teammates closer to his ultimate. 

With this wall, you also gain some time for your team to rotate and help you on the A site in case it's an A site execution. 

A Tower Wall

With this wall, you will close the main entrance to the A tower for the enemies and will make it much harder for them to gain control of that part of the map. 

A Site Execute Screens Wall

This wall blocks the entry to screens, which is used by the defenders as one of the main ways to enter the bombsite while playing retake since it's also the closest to the plant area. 

It makes it so your allies don't have to worry about screens and can cover other angles/ positions. 

A Heaven Wall

With this wall, you can block the vision from the defenders that are playing on A Tower/ Heaven. Beware that there is a gap that allows the defenders to pass the wall to the left side and appear on A rafters, but they will be very exposed. 

It makes it safer for you to plant the spike and gives you time for your allies to set up for the post-plant. 

Sage Walls on Split B Bombsite

Crossing into B Site Wall

This wall makes it easier and safer for you to cross into the B site, if you enter while close to the wall it's impossible for the players in heaven to see you. 

It's a very commonly used wall, although if you can enter the B site without this wall even better since it will allow you to use your wall to block B alley or other entries the defenders might use to play retake. 

B Alley Wall

This wall is very useful since it blocks the closest entry to the bombsite for the defenders, and forces them to mainly play through Heaven in the retakes. 

Even if you break the wall, it's very hard to enter the site through there 

B Tower Wall

A very useful wall that blocks the exit from B tower. This makes it so much easier for your team to play post-plant. You can set up a crossfire in the B alley entry, and set up the rest of your post-plant.

It makes it harder for the defenders to play retake since you have to break the wall, and that will give information to the attackers, and you will probably already have someone covering the B Tower exit. 

Sage Walls on Split Mid

Defensive Mid Wall

Probably the most used Sage wall on Split. This wall gives you so much free information since it blocks the two entries on Mid. 

You can also place this wall and help the B site if necessary, or even the A site, since enemies will be forced to destroy it to pass to the B tower or A ropes. Even if they teleport over it you will be able to hear it. 

Mid Mail Wall

A good wall to get mid control and that allows you to win Mid vent and take ropes to A tower. 

You have to be careful about the players in B tower since they can see you cross, but if you are grouped and they peek at you it's probably not going to be very fun for them.
