Best Waylay Lineups On Pearl

VALORANT’s newest agents happens to be a duelist, and a very unique one when it comes to kit and abilities. Waylay, has an unseen combination of abilities that can unlock various playstyles whether it be passive, aggressive, or a mix of both.
This guide will specifically show you lineups for Waylay’s Saturate Ability, as it acts similar to Phoenix mollies which can lead to very useful lineups that can help you step up your duels. So let’s dig in the best Waylay Lineups on Pearl:
Lineups
A Site - Attack
When pushing A in pearl, your main concern will be the A main aggressive defender that may be posed with an operator or even just a normal gun. So this lineup will help you secure that kill. Even if it’s a Jett, they won’t be able to dash away when it hits.
To do it, come by the corner In A lobby and aim your crosshair as shown in the picture. Do a normal throw then dash in to get your kill or simply have a teammate peek off it.
Art - Attack
From A main, as an entry duelist, you can temporarily become an initiator for your teammates who are in mid. Throw your lineup and have them take Art control.
It is not pixel perfect, all you have to do is come anywhere close to the window on Art from A lobby and throw your lineup while aiming above the bricks.
A Site - Defend
This lineup is best used when you want to push A site on the defender side. It is a common play, especially in eco rounds.
Come over against the barrier on A main, once it drops walk forward while aiming somewhere around the pillar and throw your lineup then dash.
B Site - Attack
This lineup is almost unbelievable on B site. It hits B link, this is a spot that is guaranteed to catch a player whether it be the mid player who’s rotating to B or an anchor in that position.
To do this lineup come anywhere near pillar on B long and aim your crosshair above the building as shown in the picture. Then, do a jump throw.

Waylay Pro Tips
- Waylay’s abilities can also affect teammates, this includes Saturate and her ultimate. So when you use it make sure it is not going to impact your team negatively, otherwise it might lead to some angry teammates
- Only Waylay’s first dash can go upwards, this means that you either use both dashes forward (can be in any direction you aim at) or use the first one to go up like a Jett’s updraft + dash combo
- You can opt to use 1 dash if you need by pressing right click instead of left click. This can be useful if you are looking to a certain distance
- Waylay is still new, meaning that her playstyle is yet to be shaped, don’t be limited to a specific style (aggressive or passive) find what you can perform with best
- Waylay’s ultimate takes a few seconds to activate, so keep in mind that it is easy to dodge if the area was not narrow or if enemies were not stunned
- To get the habit of using her “Saturate” ability quickly and without any struggle, we recommend assigning that ability key to a mouse button as it is easier to access and use in gun fights / duels
- While your Retract ability can help you escape gun fights without taking damage, keep in mind players can still headshot you or kill you before if you don’t do it quickly enough, do not take it for granted
