VALORANT Brimstone Smokes on Lotus - Best Smokes and Strategies

The new map Lotus is out! And with that, comes confusion due to how diversely built the map is. However, If you’re a Brimstone main this map is for you and you’re in the right place to learn about the best smokes you can use with Brimstone on the new map Lotus. 

We will provide you with 2 setups for each side, attacking and defense. As well as suggest good examples of how your ability should be used as a Brimstone. 

Setups - Attack 

A Fast

Starting with the A site, it might look complicated but here’s the deal. Your smokes depend a lot on your playstyle and planning for the round you’re playing. This specific setup here is aimed more towards taking a duel to try and gain entries into site. 

A Split

While in this setup we notice that it’s aimed more towards a safe push into site, but always keep aware of the cheeky corners enemies might tuck in, and if for any reason you can’t guarantee a player to watch it use your molly and move on to execute site with your smokles. 

B Plant

B is a very small site compared to the typical planting site we know of, which makes it very impact and therefore has a faster pace of play. We suggest that you use your smokes to immediately cover all openings of the enemy sight. 

B Control

If you’re planning to have more control and be more comfortable with the space on B site, smoke like this and assign players to push and hold these smokes down. 

C Post Plant

Finally for attacking the C site, it’s straight forward: Smoke the chokepoints and take control of site with utility. 

C Control

BECAREFUL: Through the link to defenders spawn, there is a height difference which can give defenders a gap to look through upon retaking from there. It’s not your smoke’s fault, just beware of it. 

If you want to dive deeper and take more control, this is a more proper setup for such scenario.

Setups - Defense

A Aggressive

Relatively a difficult way to defend A but if you’re looking for map control this is a proper way to go by. 

A Passive

This is the safer option to defend A, it can almost always guarantee that you at least stop the attackers from their initial burst into site execution. 

B Counter Execute

B is a hard executing site for Attackers, especially with this smoke and molly. 

C Control

To defend C, just make sure a player is watching the gateway from B and smoke + molly this area. 

C Aggressive

If you’re willing to get more control, push further with a teammate while using your smokes and molly like so.
