The Most Used Legends In Apex Legends Season 16
Wraith has once again taken back her spot at the top over Octane in Season 16, owing to her Ultimate buffs. On the other hand, we have Seer, who has taken quite a fall in pick rate because of his nerfs.
As expected, Octane, Wraith, and Pathfinder are still fighting for the title of the most popular Legend in Apex, but Wraith is way ahead of the pack as of right now, with a whopping 11.5% pick rate.
Rampart is found to be struggling and down to the 21st position with a pick of 1.4%, whereas Newcastle takes the very last spot with a pick rate of 1.3%. However, Crypto has moved out of the bottom three in Season 16 and has risen all the way up to the 13th place with a pick rate of 2.8%.
Most Played Apex Legends Characters
While a higher pick rate does not always indicate a more effective Legend, the current build of the game has seen the same few characters occupying the top spots for quite some time now. Check out the most-played Legend in Apex Legends Season 16 below!
Wraith – 11.5%
During the launch, Wraith used to be the face of the game, and it is easy to understand why that was so. Her abilities have yet to be challenged or replaced by some other Legend, even Ash, with her portal allowing for strategic and smooth rotations.
Along with her phase, players can also take more risks and still retreat with their life intact. Wraith has had some changes done to her, such as the removal of the Low Profile attribute back in Season 9.
However, regardless of that, she remains just as deadly as ever in the current season of the game. This can be clearly seen from her top spot in the game, with a pick rate of 11.5%. She received a buff in Season 16, making the portal double the distance, which helped her leapfrog over Octane into the top spot.
Octane – 11.1%
Apart from the nerfs he has received since the release of the game, Octane has continuously been a high-picked Legend in Apex. His highly effective and easy-to-use abilities make for great solo play, but this also means that he fits right in with team-based matches.
Octane boasts a pick rate of 11.1% pick rate and is occupying the number two spot at the moment.
Pathfinder – 10.7%
Aside from being nowhere as effective as he was back in his prime, Pathfinder still manages to be the top mobility-based Legend in the game with a pick rate of 10.7%. Ever since the release of Season 5, Respawn has continued to adjust and make changes to the Legend’s abilities.
In doing so, they have given other recons, such as Seer, Valkyrie, Bloodhound, and Crypto, his original ability to scan for upcoming ring locations. With the release of Season 16, Pathfinder’s speed on ziplines has been doubled, and he can also place his ultimate twice as far.
This gives him yet another boost to his to his pick rate, which has increased by about 1%.
Bloodhound – 7.3%
Although Seer might have taken the title of “Best Recon Legend” early on in Season 10, that time was short-lived. Bloodhound cannot be replaced with some other Legend in the game thanks to their Eye of the Allfather tactical ability.
This ability offers unparalleled tracking and information for any team. This is a pretty big reason why Bloodhound boasts a whopping 7.3% pick rate in Apex Legends Season 16.
Aside from that, the “Beast of the Hunt” is an amazing traversal technique, especially if you need to run away from the storm.
Bangalore – 6.8%
Bangalore is one of the right original Legends in Apex and has moved back into the top 5 in Season 16. This is possibly a result of her new-found popularity in pro matches. Bangalore has always had a useful kit but never felt “overpowered”.
However, considering how strong the aim assist is in Apex Legends, players are going for Bangalore owing to her smoke. The smoke will counter-aim assist, putting controller players at a disadvantage.
With a pick rate of 6.8%, Bangalore knocked both Horizon as well as Valkyrie down the pecking order in Season 16, as both of these Legends were hit with nerfs.
