Best Clove Decay Lineups On Lotus

If you’re playing Clove and you feel the need to learn a few lineups so you can elevate your gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we will take you through the best Decay Meddle lineups you could use. While lineups aren’t mandatory to be a good smoker, it can be the differentiator between a good and a great one.

It can also improve your KDA as you no longer would have to stand right in the open with your Meddle or as we call it vulnerability in hand to try and hit it where you want. Safe to say it is much more efficient to learn a lineup or two.

In this guide, we will take you through key locations on Lotus that you can use the meddle on to increase your chances of winning your rounds and games, so let’s start:

Attack Side

A Site

Starting with the attacking side on A of lotus, this lineup will land on back site and it can be done from Rubble. If you time it right, this will be incredibly helpful for your team as they execute site.

To do it, come by the pillar in Rubble and aim your crosshair above the leaf as shown in the picture. Then send your decay.

C Site

Over to C site, this is a deeper lineup that will help your execute onto C site. It lands o n Waterfall which catches people rotating or going back to that spot, either way, it will catch enemies.

To do this lineup, come to hill and aim your crosshair anywhere around the spot shown in the picture, it will bounce off and land onto water fall.

Defense Side

B Site

B site is not an easy site to retake, or is it? Well with this lineup you will make sure it is easier than usual as it lands on under site and hits anyone playing there. And if the spike was there, it’s a win win!

All you have to do is come through A link and shoot your decay through the hole in the wall, it will go in just as supposed.

C Site

This lineup on Waterfall is perfect if you plan to surprise enemies attacking C. It will land on hill ( a little after) and this allows you to combine it with a raze nade to stop enemy executes.

All you have to do is come to water fall aim at the ledge of the building as shown in the picture and throw your decay.

Clove Pro Tips

As of the recent patches, Clove’s decay will not explode until it makes contact. This allows for these new lineups to come up, so don’t worry, you’re right in with this trend!
With the recent Clove changes, your smokes take 40 seconds to recharge. This puts a lot of emphasis on using them only when you need to, and to not waste them unnecessarily.
The Ability “Meddle” is the vulnerability orb that decays enemies, you may not recognize its name but it is better to as searching for this online will require the specific ability’s name.
These lineups were designed to help you be in position to smoke site, don’t forget to do that before or right after you perform your lineup as you might hinder your teammates if you waste time on doing lineups without smoking.
Decay is an ability that is best when used with other mollies to deal damage, you can never kill with a Clove decay but you can surely get a lot of assists and win the round if you combine that with a Raze nade or other mollies.
Your decay can hit teammates, make sure you don’t hit your own team to avoid getting flamed and yelled at (who wants that, right?)

As a Clove, you should always try to play in Mid or a position that allows you to smoke both sites. If you’re attacking, you just go with your team. If you’re defending, just stick to Mid or spawn.
