Lineups
A Attack
This lineup will land quickly on A main allowing you to execute and scale up fast on site, if you want to do fast pushes, this is the lineup you need to perform.
To do it, come over anywhere on A main and aim against the right window then shoot your Saturate to hinder enemies.
B Attack
This is a very simple and quick lineup that you need to know. Almost everyone knows it, but not everyone applies it. So be the different player!
The key is to come and take cover as shown in the picture. You can aim on top of the box to throw your Saturate and it will land on main allowing to punish the aggressor.
A Defense
Want to retake A like a raidboss? Well, here’s how to do it! You use this lineup to hit default and dash into it, easy kills.
Come over to the corner of this wooden box on Link and aim right at it. Then, perform a jumping throw.
B Defense
Lastly on B site, this is a quick lineup that’s easy to do and it will help you clear close corners or help your team walk out of CT at ease. This makes a big difference during retakes.
To do it come by stairs, make sure market is clear and aim your crosshair against the window as shown. Then, throw your hinder.

Waylay Pro Tips
- Waylay’s abilities can also affect teammates, this includes Saturate and her ultimate. So when you use it make sure it is not going to impact your team negatively, otherwise it might lead to some angry teammates
- Only Waylay’s first dash can go upwards, this means that you either use both dashes forward (can be in any direction you aim at) or use the first one to go up like a Jett’s updraft + dash combo
- You can opt to use 1 dash if you need by pressing right click instead of left click. This can be useful if you are looking to a certain distance
- Waylay is still new, meaning that her playstyle is yet to be shaped, don’t be limited to a specific style (aggressive or passive) find what you can perform with best
- Waylay’s ultimate takes a few seconds to activate, so keep in mind that it is easy to dodge if the area was not narrow or if enemies were not stunned
- To get the habit of using her “Saturate” ability quickly and without any struggle, we recommend assigning that ability key to a mouse button as it is easier to access and use in gun fights / duels
- While your Retract ability can help you escape gun fights without taking damage, keep in mind players can still headshot you or kill you before if you don’t do it quickly enough, do not take it for granted
