Fade is a versatile initiator agent in Valorant, equipped with a powerful set of abilities that can gather information and control the battlefield. One of her key strengths lies in his ability to set up precise lineups, which are pre-determined locations where his abilities will land. These lineups can be used to clear out areas, gather information, and even secure kills.

There are many different Fade lineups that can be used on various maps in Valorant, each with its own specific purpose and application. Today we will demonstrate the best Fade lineups for each key location on the map Lotus that will enable you to utilize her kit to the maximum of its ability and ensure the highest chances of winning.

These lineups will cover all the important aspects such as attacking, defending, and even retaking. Whether you’re a veteran player or just starting out on the agent, this guide will be a step up and great help for your gameplay on Fade while playing Lotus

Fade Lineups - Attacking Side

While initiators are often associated with duelists, they play in a completely different way and adapt various possibilities than what a duelist player would. She is classified as an information initiator, unlike the flasher initiators who are more focused to find ways to flash for their duelist’s entry, you as a Fade try to find the gaps in the enemy team and gather information that your team can use to open and execute sites a lot more effectively. Here’s how you can utilize Fade's lineups on attack:

To attack A site, you’ll need to first off clear the closer corners as it’s usually pretty crowded with defenders. On A, defenders usually play for control and push your territory using utility like Nades or mollies, and for that you’ll need to reveal them to be 1 step ahead of their plans.

To do this lineup, come to this corner against the bricks on A main and then align the line between your cease and haunt as shown in the picture.

And then, throw your haunt.

fade_lotus_attack_b

This reveal will take any defender on B site by surprise as it lands really high and reveals most of the position on site. It’s also incredibly quick, making it one of the best lineups to go for.

To do it, you have to get closer to this corner by clearing it and making sure it’s a safe position, and then aim at this spot as in the picture.

Then, run and jump throw your haunt.

fade_lotus_attack_c

This haunt will reveal any operator player or any aggressive execute towards C main. It’s not easy to destroy which makes it a plus.

To do it, come over to this corner which is where the barrier is and aim right at that spot shown in the picture. And then, simply

Jump and throw your haunt.

Fade Lineups - Defending Side

It might not seem inevitably clear how important an initiator like Fade is on defense, but the reality is you play a key part in winning even defensive sides. Utilizing her ability kit to gather as much information as you can on the attacking team’s positioning and moves can be the game changer and lead to victory. Here are the best lineups to defend and gather early information with Fade:

Into the defensive side, A is the most important site to gather early information on. With this lineup you will be able to have your haunt land very high in an unpredictable position and that will guarantee you at least a few pings.

All you need to do is to stick yourself to this corner and aim right at that spot. In case the crosshair is light colored and not as visible, you can see where the arrow points to.

Then, simply jump and throw your haunt.

fade_lotus_defense_c

Defending C site is essential, especially against hard executes. This haunt is not purely visible to attackers and has a high chance to catch them off guard, giving your teammates on site information and an advantage over the execute that’s coming. It will reveal everyone towards C main but it won’t reveal C lobby or towards CT.

To do it, come to the right corner in Waterfalls next to C site and aim at that spot of the building just as shown. And then,

Jump and throw your haunt.

Fade Lineups - Retakes

Retaking is a part of playing defense, but it reverses the roles as after you’ve lost site it’s almost like you’re attacking to open site again. With that, you need proper lineups and knowledge to corner attackers and ensure your team gets the lead when it comes to positions and info. Here are the best retaking lineups for Fade:

fade_lotus_retake_a

Retaking A site is not quite easy, as defenders can play in many corners and overwhelm you with their positions. For that, you can use this haunt that will take care of clearing many common positions including the closer ones to you as you retake from A heaven.

Performing it is very simple, come to this corner and find that giant wall with the leaves on top then simply

Throw your haunt.

fade_lotus_retake_b

This might not be the most optimal haunt but it’s pretty uncommon and unexpected which might give you an advantage as you retake B site. It will land on sort of a little poke window and will reveal everyone on site.

fade_lotus_retake_b_real

To do it just come from A link and find this little window. Position yourself as shown,

And then throw your haunt.

fade_lotus_retake_c

This haunt is the perfect one to use when executing C site. It lands high above the CT building and reveals everyone on site, it will not reveal anyone taking cover but it’s distracting and get guarantee you a few pings in the heat of the moment.
