As a high-impact initiator, Breach, with his suite of seismic abilities, can single-handedly turn the tide of any round. However, the true potential of this earth-shattering agent lies not just in understanding his abilities but in applying them in the most strategic and devastating ways possible. In this article, we'll delve into how to maximize the effectiveness of Breach's stuns and flashes on the map Lotus, exploring various strategies, best practices, and situational tips to help you overwhelm the enemy, disrupt their tactics, and secure victory for your team.

Breach Stuns

The fault line ability which is otherwise known as “Stun” is one of the most overpowered pieces of utility that you can use to shift the outcome of any round. Using it at the right time and place makes an unimaginable difference as to how the games will be played. In this section, we will demonstrate the best stuns you can use for both attacking and defensive halves:

What Does It Cover: As you attack, you will often face off a defender that will aggress and peek off the corner on A site. This stun will cover that corner forcing anyone to back off to site.

When To Use It: If you ever suspect an operator player or an aggression from defenders on A site, make sure to use this stun as it allows you to walk out and hit A site.

What Makes It Good: Any defender trying to play aggressively on A will have a hard time doing so with this utility being used.

Simply come over and aim your stun just as in the picture. Make sure to avoid any nades or mollies at the start of the round.

What Does It Cover: Mirroring the previous stun, as a defender this will cover anyone playing towards A lobby or peeking out of A lobby.

When To Use It: Best used when you plan to aggress and push over anyone playing on A as it’s a common play to contest control for that area specifically and this stun is essential for you to do so.

What Makes It Good: The fact that enemies will be forced to back off and give you control or give in and get picked apart as you push.

Simply aim your stun to A lobby and use it accordingly. Preferably at the start of the round or just a few seconds after.

breach_lotus_stun_b

What Does It Cover: As B is complicated to hit, this stun will hit anyone playing aggressive and peeking or even the sentinel / site holder on CT.

When To Use It: Best used when you are heavily executing B site and you’re looking to do that in a fast manner.

What Makes It Good: Any enemy who’s playing in any of the affected spots will have no time to dodge your utility as the area is pretty narrow and that will guarantee you easy kills as you entry.

Simply aim your stun from B lobby just as in the picture and use it accordingly.

breach_lotus_stun_c

What Does It Cover: This stun over on C site will hit the most crucial spot which is where defenders play when they’re on C. That being towards back and middle of site.

When To Use It: Best used as a site execution, when it comes to timing it must be right before your duelists enter site.

What Makes It Good: Any enemy playing on those areas will end up being a free kill for your teammates making this a pretty solid option.

Simply aim your stun like so, use your minimap as a preference to match the picture and then shoot it forward.

Breach Flashes

Breach’s flashpoint is what made him a popular agent, as we all remember the days we could not help but see the sun and get picked as this agent dominated with his abilities. Here you will find the best spots where you can use breach flashes to hopefully maximize the chances that everyone on that sight is blind. This will be for both attacking and defensive halves:

breach_lotus_flash_a

What Does It Cover: As you push A site you will need to take control of tree which this flash blinds anyone playing there at ease. The only exception is the little wooden cover that’s inside of tree.

When To Use It: As you take control of A site, if you were to go through the rotating doors this will be the best time to use this flash right before opening it.

What Makes It Good: The fact that any enemy on A Tree will become a victim to your flash giving you an easy entry through the doors and potentially some free kills.

Simply come over as you have cleared up the space and shoot your flash through the rotating door right before opening it.

breach_lotus_flash_b

What Does It Cover: This flash will blind absolutely every single player on B site giving you easy access to push.

When To Use It: Best used in the form of a heavy execution towards B site.

What Makes It Good: Setting it apart is the fact that this flash will come through a wall and that would be an unpredictable spot giving enemies less chances to dodging it as you enter.

All you need to do is aim your flash through this wall and push accordingly.

breach_lotus_flash_c

What Does It Cover: This flash on C site will blind anyone playing towards back site which is the most dangerous area if you’re entering aggressively. It won’t cover anything towards waterfall or CT.

When To Use It: Best used if you have a way to fast entry into back site such as a satchel or a dash, use it accordingly to benefit from the utility spent.

What Makes It Good: Any enemy playing on that area will become a free kill to your duelists which grants you an easier time fighting for C site.

All you have to do is to aim your flash through this pillar on site and communicate that so your duelists can benefit from your play.

Pro Tips

  • Breach flashes have a projectile speed set to it, so for example if you are to flash through a long distance that will make your flash take more time before it arrives to the wall and goes through it, making it easier for the enemy to dodge. So always account for the distance before flashing.

  • To get the full benefit from playing breach, make sure to combine his utility to clear out different angles as stuns and flashes isolate areas while you can use Aftershocks to also hit enemies that might be tucked in sneaky corners.

  • Don’t forget to fully charge your stun as it affects to what distance it extends to, of course if you don’t need it to go far you can instantly do it for the purpose of doing it quicker.

  • Always use your minimap as a reference to where your stun or set ability is going as it’s the only indicator when there are obstacles such as walls and so on.
