Valorant fans have a reason to rejoice as Haven returns to the competitive map pool with patch 8.11. Riot Games confirmed this update in a May 21 dev update, and players can expect the change in early June.

Haven is notable for being the first map in Valorant with three sites for planting the spike. Despite being a staple since the game's launch, it was rotated out at the start of Episode 8. The map's comeback means that Breeze and Split will no longer be part of the map pool.

Valorant’s Product Manager, Coleman Palm, confirmed these changes in a dev update video. The community had previously criticized Episode 8’s map pool and called for changes. Responding to this, Dan Hardison, Valorant’s Game Designer, assured players that their feedback is heard. He promised more transparency around map rotations in the future.

The patch also brings balancing changes to various duelists. Raze will see nerfs, particularly to her satchel mobility. Meanwhile, Iso, Neon, and Reyna will receive buffs to enhance their viability in team settings like Premier and Pro. Notably, Reyna’s kit adjustments aim to improve her performance in these environments.

Additionally, the long-awaited Replays feature will be introduced in patch 8.11. This update will be the last major one before the VCT Masters Shanghai event later in May.
