Riot Games has finally teamed up with the Esports World Cup Foundation, bringing its top esports titles to the 2025 summer tournament.
This means Valorant, League of Legends, and Teamfight Tactics will all be part of the event. Riot will also have special in-broadcast features across its esports leagues.
About EWC
The first-ever Esports World Cup took place in summer 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, running for eight weeks with competitions in multiple games.
Teams participated under the Club Support program, and the total prize pool was over $60 million.
The event is returning in 2025, and this time, Riot’s presence will be even bigger, with Valorant joining the lineup alongside LoL and TFT.
Beyond the tournaments, the partnership also includes a global commercial deal between the Esports World Cup Foundation and Riot’s esports circuits—LoL Esports, the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), and TFT’s competitive scene for 2025, so rest assured there will be a lot to look for thos upcoming year.
Riot officials quote:

This shows Riot dedication to expanding and improving in the esports industry, this is most definitely a good step into making Esports a global entertainment.
As for the dates, EWC and Riot have not made any official statements about when this will take place, but we know for sure, it won't be long before we see Riot in 2025 EWC.
