Riot Finally Confirm Tejo Nerfs

Big changes are coming to Valorant as Riot Games confirms a nerf for Tejo in patch 10.04.

Since his introduction at the start of 2025, Tejo has been shaking up the meta with his powerful abilities. As a Colombian Initiator, he brings some serious firepower to the game especially with his devastating Armageddon Ultimate and Guided Salvo.

However, Guided Salvo has been a major headache for many players, particularly Killjoy mains.

The ability, which works similarly to Clove’s smoke placement, rains down rockets instead of clouds, dealing 70 damage every 0.5 seconds. The biggest issue? It could also take out Killjoy’s Lockdown ultimate.

Tejo’s Nerf in Patch 10.04

Players had hoped for a fix in patch 10.01, but it didn’t happen. Now, with the 10.04 update, Riot is finally making some adjustments.

Revealed at the end of Masters Bangkok on March 2, Tejo’s Guided Salvo will now deal 65 damage instead of 70, and it will no longer be able to destroy Killjoy’s Lockdown after activation, Lockdown will remain with 5 HP.

On top of that, Guided Salvo will now only deal 50% damage to objects, making it less destructive overall.

This update should bring some much-needed balance to the game, especially for those who rely on utility-based strategies.
