Riot Suspends Valorant Coach

Riot Games has announced a one-year suspension for esports coach Preston "Juv3nile" Dornon following an investigation into potential breaches of the Riot Games Esports Global Code of Conduct.
What exactly happened?
The decision, which takes effect immediately on April 4, 2025, bars Juv3nile from participating in all Riot-sanctioned esports competitions for the next 12 months.
As part of the disciplinary action, Juv3nile will also be required to complete an executive training program emphasizing professionalism, respect, and appropriate conduct.
Riot Games has stated that a more detailed competitive ruling will be published on their official rulings page at competitiveops.riotgames.com in the near future.
The ruling underscores Riot’s commitment to upholding high standards of behavior within its esports ecosystem. The company emphasized that players, coaches, and individuals in leadership roles must maintain a strong sense of professionalism both in and out of competition.
Why?
The main reason behind the suspension is the behavior Juv3nile displayed with certain members of the community, specifically girls. The coach was seen to be approaching girls inappropiately, asking for things like going on dates and other things of that nature.
Obviously, this is unacceptable. Hence the harsh punishment by Riot Games, as they hold their players to follow the professional conduct.
