Riot Opens Creator Partner Program Applications

Riot Games is opening up its creator partner programs again, this time across multiple games. Starting in August 2026, creators will be able to apply directly for programs tied to Valorant, League of Legends, and Teamfight Tactics.
This marks a big shift from the older League Partner Program, which had paused new applications for years while Riot worked on a broader system to support creators across its growing lineup of games.
Application dates and rollout
Each game will have its own application window, with about a month to apply:
- Valorant: August 3 to August 28, 2026
- League of Legends: September 1 to September 30, 2026
- Teamfight Tactics: October 1 to October 30, 2026
Riot says thousands of creators could be accepted as part of this new rollout.
You don’t need a huge audience
One of the biggest changes is that these programs are not limited to massive creators.
Riot says it’s looking for a mix of established and smaller creators, as long as they show real passion for the game and have an active, engaged community.
What matters most:
- Genuine connection to the game
- Positive behavior in the community
- Consistent interaction with viewers or followers
What creators get if accepted
Creators who join the program will get access to a range of tools and perks designed to help them grow.
Some of the benefits include:
- Free access to in-game content like agents, champions, or tacticians
- Giveaway codes for their audience
- Free battle passes
- Dedicated support for creator-related issues
- Access to a new Creator Hub with resources and tools
- Opportunities like drops campaigns, marketing features, and early content access
More chances to apply later
If you miss the first round or don’t get accepted, Riot says there will be more opportunities in the future.
The company plans to reopen applications once it’s ready to handle more creators at scale.
Other Riot games and programs
Right now, the open applications only apply to Valorant, League, and TFT.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is currently testing its partner program in a closed beta, with wider access expected later on.
