Valorant Premier Global Open Beta
Riot has just announced that Premier, is finally coming to light for rest of the player base. As many of you know, the mode was being tested privately for specific regions and now that the period has ended, it’s time to see it in action.
However, It is a beta test which means it is not the official launch up of the mode, nonetheless, It will surely be an exciting and amazing experience. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Premier mode:
Premier will be the bridge for us the causal players to the team-based competition pro-like matches. Starting on the 25th of April you will finally be able to create or join a team of your choice and simply, compete.
The mode will follow up on 3 main stages, those being:
- Enrollment
- Compete
- Tournament
Requirements to participate
But wait, before you head in with the excitement you need to know about these 3 simple requirements that will allow you to play in The Beta:
- SMS Verficiation
- Completion Of Ranked Placement (Any Act, Ever)
- A Team
Let’s break those down, you will need a minimum of 5 players to enroll a team while you can have a maximum of 7.
Once that’s set, you will need to set (or join) a certain region that you’ll play in, this will decide the servers you partake your matches in.
After that, your team will be ready to compete. From there, you’ll be drafted to play up to 2 matches per week. You will be able to see the time and date of each match and each win will give your team points, just as RR when you play ranked. You don’t lose anything for not playing.
After you’ve played plenty of matches, your score will determine whether or not you can qualify for the tournament playoffs which will follow a similar bracket to those professional matches ending with a crowned champion for the premier season.
What Will You Win?
If you’re crowned as champion, you’ll be able to receive Unique player cards, titles, and of course, your bragging rights.
