Leviatán, a prominent name in the Valorant esports scene, has made a significant move by signing Corbin 'C0M' Lee, a former player of Evil Geniuses and the 2023 Valorant World Champion. This strategic addition marks C0M as the fifth starting member of Leviatán's team, gearing up for the 2024 VCT Americas campaign.

The Argentinian organization confirmed this acquisition on January 9, following widespread speculation. Leviatán's roster was already formidable, with the inclusion of 2022 World Champion Erick 'aspas' Santos and the experienced IGL Francisco 'kiNgg' Aravena. This latest signing further solidifies their position as a powerhouse in the upcoming season.

C0M's transition from Evil Geniuses, where he played a pivotal support role in their championship victory, leaves EG with just one player in their starting lineup. The move has stirred some controversy, as Leviatán had a complete five-man roster before C0M's arrival. This led to the benching of Agustin 'Nozwerr' Ibarra, a decision that was clarified as an organizational choice rather than a team decision.

C0M's experience and supportive playstyle are expected to greatly benefit Leviatán, which already boasts impressive talents like aspas and Ian 'tex' Botsch. The North American player joins a diverse team, with members communicating in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, adding an interesting dynamic to the squad.

Leviatán's lineup for the upcoming season now includes C0M, aspas, kiNgg, tex, and Roberto 'Mazino' Bugueño, forming a formidable team that fans eagerly anticipate to see in action.
