Overwatch 2 Halloween Event: Release Date, Drops, PvE Mode, Skins
The Halloween Terror event started on October 25 and continues until November 9. The first Halloween Terror event was held back in 2016. Since then, every year, Blizzard has held a special event in Overwatch to coincide with All Saints' Day. This year will be the first year for The Halloween Terror event in Overwatch 2.
The Halloween Terror Event Details
Here is everything new that comes with the Halloween Terror event this year:
- Legendary Witch Kiriko Skin
- Legendary Executioner Junker Queen Skin
- Legendary Cursed Captain Reaper Skin
- New PvE Mode – Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride.
- Halloween Themed Collectables
The new PvE Mode is a 4-player co-op sequel to the original Junkenstein's Revenge game mode. Apparently, the playable heroes are Sojourn, Junker Queen, Kiriko, and Ashe – pure girlpower, I love it!
To get the special drop by watching the streams under Overwatch 2 tag, you need to connect your Battle.net account to Twitch. And then to watch any streamers who're streaming Overwatch 2. The drop will be available from October 25 until November 6 at 11 am PDT.
Viewers can earn the following rewards:
- 2 hours watched: Werewolf Winston Spray
- 4 hours watched: Werewolf Winston Legendary Skin
The Halloween Terror Twitch drops are also available on all platforms, and participating regions include North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia/New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
Along with the haunting holiday events, Blizzard is running a Double Match XP weekend starting October 28-31. All players who log in to Overwatch 2 from the start of the Halloween Terror event through the end of Season One will also receive the Cursed Captain Reaper Legendary Skin and the Health Pack Weapon Charm.
