Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie, a star of the Valorant scene, is back in action with Paper Rex earlier than anticipated, after skipping mandatory military service. The team welcomed him back, ready to play in the upcoming VCT Pacific season. His early return is thanks to a medical condition, which keeps his military boots off but doesn't hinder his Valorant prowess. Paper Rex and Jinggg are tight-lipped about the specifics of his health but assure it won't affect his game.

Jinggg's return revives the original lineup, which saw significant success last year, pushing Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha to a reserve role. This reshuffle comes after Paper Rex clinched a third-place finish at VCT Masters Madrid. Jinggg's absence was meant to be longer, making room for his military service. Yet, a twist in his medical evaluation flipped the script.

Paper Rex has re-signed Jinggg till 2026, signaling strong faith in his abilities. This move follows a period of speculation about Jinggg's future in professional Valorant. Despite his temporary step back for health and service reasons, his team stood by him, ready for his return.
