Fortnite Receives MAJOR New Changes In Mid-Season Update!
Fortnite just dropped a mid-season update, and this might be one of the biggest updates ever that Epic Games has released in a while! With a brand-new Heat Level feature, five new Exotic Weapons, four more Reality Augments, three new Vault POIs, and so much more!
There is also another change that Epic made, which was also one of the biggest announcements that Fortnite has done in a long time which we will talk about in this article. So, let us get into this article and discuss all the new changes and features that were introduced in the latest update.
Heat Level
The Heat Level is present on the top left corner of a player’s screen, and it increases as they get eliminations. As you get eliminations, you increase your Heat, and people can start seeing you on the minimap, which is kind of a disadvantage since they can come to hunt you down.
However, as you increase your Heat, you will start getting some rewards.
- At one bar, players will start getting way more Gold Bars on eliminations
- At two bars, they will get a movement speed buff of 15%, and their health will go back up to 100 when they are out of combat.
- Furthermore, at three bars, you will get a 20% movement speed buff, and you go up to 100 health and 50 Shields out of combat.
- Lastly, at four bars, you get a 25% movement buff, and you go up to 100 Health and 100 Shield when you are out of combat.
Some New Updates
Epic Games also decided to unvault eight different things, such as the Deagle, the Sniper, the Dual Pistols, a P90, Hand Cannon, Silence Pistol, and more. The Shadow Bomb Augment is also fixed and has once again returned to the game.
Four New Augments
Epic Games has also introduced four new Reality Augments into the game, which are as follows:
- Exotic Grab Bag: Receive a random Heisted Exotic Weapon.
- Keymaster: Grants two keys for opening Holo-Chests.
- Last Shots: The last two bullets of your Pistol magazines deal bonus damage.
- Sniper Surplus: Sniper Rifles gain one extra ammo in their magazine.
Epic Games also made it easier for players to unlock the new Perks.
