What Does It Cover: Starting with the very first one way on A main, this will create terror for any enemy trying to come over to A site from Art, Mid. As this one way lands on top of the box, it creates a huge advantage to anyone holding from site, especially towards default and church.

When To Use It: Best used in a defensive scenario where you want to keep control of A site as enemies burst out art to try and take site.

What Makes It Good: The fact that you can rely on this one way in different scenarios and with different sets of plays such as regards to your position makes it a really good pick during any ranked match.

What Does It Cover: The second lineup on A site will cover the default planting spot in the middle of site. Although, it is intended to target the spot for A main and not the double up Art and main plant.

When To Use It: Best used in a post plant scenario to avoid enemies defusing the spike as this one way will lend you an advantage over them because they will not be able to see you while defusing.

What Makes It Good: Using this one way will make it harder for any enemy under any scenario to try and defuse the spike. No reason to not use that when an enemy is retaking your site.

B Site

What Does It Cover: Moving over to B street, this one way will cover anyone towards or around double doors, Mid Link.

When To Use It: Best used in a defensive scenarios to prevent enemies from coming out of Mid Link to connector or to street, this allows you to retain the control of the link area and keep your team composed.

What Makes It Good: Double doors in middle / B is a tight area, with this one way it is nearly impossible for anyone to walk out of there.

What Does It Cover: This one way is not for B heaven, instead, it is for CT. While it does not seem like it, this smoke will end up falling on the ground giving you the best one way lineup towards CT.

When To Use It: Best used when attacking B site as enemies are often expected to retake from CT and Mid Link, making this one way more valuable.

What Makes It Good: Most enemies will fall into your trap and peek into the on way giving you the easiest free kills without realizing, which is just more of a reason to keep spamming it every round.

When To Use It: Best used in a defensive scenarios to block off any enemy trying to take B site.

What Makes It Good: The fact that this lineup allows for vision but still grants you an advantage over anyone trying to cross to site makes it a great pick to use.

Pro Tips

  • It is entirely up to preference, but pressing “R” will shift the view in your smoke ability to be in the real map, making it easier to identify and tell where your smokes are getting placed. You can always switch between these two options for what suits you best.

  • Using one ways means you are looking to turn that smoke from a cover to a possible fight. Only that you will have every advantage in that fight, meaning if you ever use a one way you should definitely watch over it and take control of that space unlike regular smokes that you use to deny enemies.

  • There is a green arrow when you are using your smoke that refers to where your ability is going to be casted, following the instructions and that arrow you will be even able to create any smoke as long as you can identify where it is going to be placed.

  • Remember that each one way has an advantageous and disadvantage side, meaning if you are to place a one way as an attacker, this means if you ever end up repositioning to the spot you smoked you will be the one at a disadvantage, always make sure you are on the right side doing the right play.

  • By placing your smokes higher it will take more time for it to float down and reach the supposed area, this allows you to create some creative and unique plays if you wish to do so.
