Best Sage Slow Lineups On Pearl

Are you a Sage main? Well, whether you are or not, this guide is going to elevate your gameplay in that agent. It may even lead you to pick her in your next ranked matches. Why you may ask? Simply because, we will show you some of the best Sage slow lineups on Pearl.
So let’s take you through some of the best lineups for both defense and attack helping you maximize your benefit from the agent’s ability kit:
Attack Side
A Site
If you’re in business of winning rounds, here’s what you can do at A site. Simply come by the corner on A lobby and you will be able to send your slow to Art. Now you do it from that spot safely and prior to the execute.
To do this lineup, all you have to do is come towards the tucked in cubby in A lobby and aim your crosshair just next to the light bulb in the sky.
B Site
This lineup lands on Mid Link. Done from B lobby, it is a perfect lineup for any sort of execute towards B site as it will be a crucial slow for those rotating through Link or trying to walk out to stop your push.
To do it, you have to come to the corner of B lobby and aim your crosshair as shown. Then, send your slow right away!
Mid
This lineup is the most insane of them all. It lands on Connector, done from B main. This gives you the opportunity to lurk and still assist your teammates to take a quick execute towards Mid Link.
To do it, come to this corner and tuck against the wall. Then aim your crosshair in line with the edge of the building as shown, send it to help your teammates.
Defense Side
A Site
This lineup is going to be a pain in the ass. And that is because it lands on a crucial spot for Attackers who are playing postplant, disallows them from moving around to safety and stay exposed to Art.
Now how can you do it? Come by the corner on CT and aim your crosshair as shown in the picture. That’s all you need to do before you send it over to the enemy team!
B Site
If you want to annoy your enemies on B site, this is how to do it. This is only viable if you have no allies on Mid Link, aka the enemy team has control of that area. Your lineup will land there done from CT giving you peace of mind as you walk out.
To do it, come over to CT and aim your crosshair just under the non-shadowed part of the tree so it can go through in between and slow your enemies. You can always look around the picture to find the exact lining up to the spot.
Sage Pro Tips
- Sage is one of the oldest Sentinels in the game. While her kit is not set to watch flank, she is able to block choke points and give control to her team. So make sure you get the best out of it.
- You have 2 slow orbs that you can use per round, make sure you don’t waste both of them at the same time as you should try to extend the duration of how long it stays as much as possible.
- To get the best out of these lineups beware of the timing and situation you use it in. Do not use an attack lineup when your enemy is too far ahead or too far behind as this will defeat its purpose.
- Make sure to pay attention for the sound after you slow an area, there is a sound que if players try to step through your slow and it can be a round winner difference to know that.
- Remember that your slows do not deal any damage, so don’t try to use them for post plant as if they are mollies; a common mistake sage mains resort to.
- Do not use your Sage wall to cover up flanks as this does more harm than good. It firstly stops you from being able to rotate in case you need to and secondly wastes the better usage of the wall on choke point.
- It is recommended to try the lineups given in a custom match to ensure you are able to do it properly before proceeding to a ranked match and potentially making some game-losing mistakes.
