List of All The LGBTQ+ Characters Of Apex Legends
Written by: ar1essss

Apex Legends is a very diverse game in many ways. It has a diverse range of guns, diverse maps, and diverse gameplay tactics. However, the most diverse aspect of this game is the characters.

Since there are many characters in Apex Legends of all races and colors, it is only reasonable that Respawn has also included LGBTQ+ characters in Apex Legends. So today we will talk about all the LGBTQ+ characters of Apex Legends.

Apex Legends LGBTQ+ Characters

Currently, 6 Legends have been verified to be members of the LGBTQIA community, with Fuse being the most recent. Some of them. So let’s get started.

Bangalore (Lesbian?)

Bangalore is an extremely resourceful character in Apex Legend. Her smoke ability provides enough cover for your teammates to either refill their ammo or health. While her sexuality hasn’t been officially confirmed, we can take a slight guess, thanks to recent story developments.

The Williams Sendoff Chronicle event provided more insight into her emotions for Loba. It won’t be long before Respawn announces her sexuality officially.

Bloodhound (Non-Binary)

Bloodhound is one of the most popular Apex Legends. He is a technological tracker and is quite efficient in terms of gameplay. The most interesting aspect of Bloodhound is that he is actually Non-Binary.

While that isn’t exactly sexuality but Non-Binary representation in mainstream media is next to nothing so it was really inspiring to see a mainstream Non-Binary character. Bloodhound is "non-binary, or at least non-specified in terms of gender," according to Respawn community manager Jay Frechette. Moreover, “they/them” pronouns are always used to refer to Bloodhound.

Fuse (Pansexual)

The latest character who was confirmed to be part of LGBTQ is Fuse. His full name is Walter "Wally" Fitzroy, alias Fuse, the new legend introduced at the start of Season 8, is pansexual. His official description reads, “Ladies’ man, man’s man, and all-round manly man.” This is a clear indication of his sexuality.

However, Sam Gill, a Reswpawn writer, confirmed that this character description is indeed a confirmation of Fuse’s sexuality because he is pansexual.

Gibraltar (Gay)

The very first LGBTQ+ character in Apex Legends was Gibraltar. Moreover, he’s the only character whose love interest has been confirmed. Nikolas is the name of his boyfriend. His bio reads;

"However, he only began to understand the value of protecting others when he and his boyfriend stole his father’s motorcycle.” “His parents saved them, and his father lost an arm in the process. Gibraltar has never forgotten that sacrifice and has devoted his life to helping those in need.”

Respawn made a great decision when they decided to make Gibraltar gay since not only he’s gay but also a person of color. This makes him an empowering character for many players.

Valkyrie (Lesbian)

Valkyrie is a badass character with an amazing character design. Fans immediately fell in love with this character thanks to her brilliant character design. Fans also loved the fact that she’s a proud lesbian.

Valkyrie voice actor Erika Ishii and Apex Legends senior writer Tom Casiello revealed that Valkyrie is actually a lesbian. Her bio reads, "she had her ladies, her liquor, her love of the sky." Moreover, one of her voice lines states, “I like my women like I like my sake – cool and on someone else’s tab.”

Seer (Pansexual)

Seer is also a tracker agent. He is also quite popular and gives Bloodhound some tough competition. He is actually pansexual, just like Fuse, it turns out.

Seer "sees to the heart of people and doesn't limit himself to a specific gender," according to Amanda Doiron, Lead Writer at Respawn, in a tweet. Seer is an interesting character but Respawn hasn’t fully explored his romantic interests. Fans would love to see some development regarding them.

Loba (Bisexual)

Loba Andrade is a heavy hitter in Apex Legends. Her abilities attract players to her. Loba was added during season 5 in Apex Legends.

Tom Casiello, a senior writer for Apex Legends, verified that Loba is bisexual. She also says in a voice line that she’s a heartbreaker whether you're a man or a woman. Additionally, a lot of her sexuality is expressed through the evolving love triangle involving her, Bangalore, and Valkyrie.

So this was our list of Apex Legends who are LGBTQ+. We hope you enjoyed it.
