All About Season 2 in Overwatch: Release Date, New Hero, Map, Mythic Skin
It is already officially known that the second season of Overwatch 2 will start on December 6, 2022. This was revealed from the game's roadmap. Each season lasts for a total of nine weeks, so the third season will start on February 7, 2023.
What is coming in Overwatch 2, Season 2?
The first and the most basic thing that will come to the game with the second season of Overwatch 2 is a new hero. His name is Ramattra. He's a tank. He was announced during the OWL Playoffs 2022 Grand Finals. A lot of people may remember him because Ramattra actually appeared back in the 2019 Storm Rising event as a mysterious villain.
Ramattra has two different modes, Omnic and Nemesis. The first is more basic and standard, while the second is aggressive. In Omnic mode, Ramattra will be playing defensive form. In Nemesis - large and huge attacking form.
But you can't receive Ramattra at the beginning of Season 2. You need to reach the 55th level in the Season 2 Battle Pass. One of the variants is buying levels to reach 55th as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, at this moment, we don't know for sure which map will appear in Season 2 of Overwatch 2. But according to the official roadmap, Season 2 will introduce a single new map in the pool, though it’s unclear which mode it’s for.
We can only wait for the moment when Blizzard will officially introduce the new map in the second season of Overwatch 2.
Next Mythic Skin
Based on the fact that the first season of the Battle Pass had a Mythic skin, we can assume that every next Battle Skin will also have one. In Season 1, the Mythic skin for Genji was added to the game. We don't know for whom the Mythic skin will be released in Season 2.
Overwatch 2 Season 2 Battle Pass
The Battle Pass will always have various fantastic cosmetic items in Overwatch 2. Each Battle Pass has 55 levels, or as it calls in Overwatch 2 - Tier.
